About the role
- Define the strategic vision for Signal and Power Distribution Technology to optimize vehicle and system performance and improve key KPIs
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop decade-long technology roadmaps and drive alignment across the organization
- Drive cross-functional technology initiatives to deliver against the roadmap and strategic priorities
- Own product and technology strategy documents for stakeholders across the company, present to senior leadership driving alignment
- Define, document, and track key metrics and KPIs to measure technology impact and guide decisions
- Perform Make vs. Buy analyses to shape and support the in-house hardware design strategy
- Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate technology performance and identify improvement actions
- Continuously refine and improve the technology based on user feedback, market trends, and business goals
Requirements
- 5+ years in automotive technology management or product development, including 2+ years in signal & power distribution or low-voltage architecture/hardware
- Proven track record leading cross-functional projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with high autonomy and ownership of results
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to analyze and resolve broad, ambiguous technical issues without clear precedent
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, conveying complex concepts and strategies to diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
