About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers aligned to business objectives and KPIs.
- Own sector-level plant plans for AMR, cobots, and emerging automation technologies.
- Align funding and integrate automation initiatives into plant, program, and enterprise roadmaps.
- Lead proof-of-concept and launch readiness activities, ensuring standard readiness criteria are met.
- Define and maintain standardized readiness checklists, dashboards, and data-driven performance tracking.
- Support implementation across plants, ensuring solution stability, user adoption, and sustained performance.
- Serve as primary escalation point to remove execution barriers and maintain momentum.
- Communicate strategy, status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years manufacturing experience with strong manufacturing engineering background in assembly and/or powertrain.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse and senior audiences.
- Proven manufacturing engineering process knowledge and automotive industry experience.
- Experience with launch, supplier management, and strategy execution in a global, matrixed environment.
- Ability to lead in ambiguous, high-pressure environments and influence across functions and regions.
- Master’s degree or higher in a technical or managerial discipline.
