About the role
- Work with suppliers to resolve manufacturing and quality issues
- Implement and monitor advanced quality planning systems
- Review and approve supplier quality plans
- Conduct onsite supplier visits for root cause analysis
- Provide technical assistance during supplier launch and ongoing production activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, Welding, Plastics, Materials, Chemical preferred) or an equivalent Technical Degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality, engineering and/or manufacturing
- Proficient in print reading and interpretation, part measurement, gage design and function
- Knowledge of geometric design and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated ability to investigate quality problems and to apply sound technical judgment to develop potential solutions
- Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
