About the role
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute capture campaigns and proposal development efforts.
- Develop and maintain capture plans, win strategies, and customer engagement plans.
- Facilitate Gate Reviews, Black Hat Reviews, and Price-to-Win workshops.
- Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and develop compliant, compelling response materials.
- Manage proposal schedules, writing assignments, and production efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and proposal coordinators, providing guidance and training.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and execution.
- Represent GM Defense in customer engagements and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in capture management, proposal development, or government contracting.
- Proven track record of leading winning proposals valued at $250M+.
- Experience working with DoD and international customers.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, SharePoint).
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
- Eligible to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance after hire.
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee).
