About the role
- Design and implement infrastructure apps, services.
- Define technical architecture for complex digital products.
- Be technical DRI for key projects.
- Ensure those projects are sound technically, make strategic decisions based on technical requirements.
- Clear communicating with product, program, design, and other engineering teams and partners.
- Hire world-class engineers to up-level the overall engineering organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Deep expertise in software engineering principles, development best practices, and modern programming languages.
- Proven experience with cloud-native technologies and architectures.
- Strong background in systems and distributed systems design and implementation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership with a track record of guiding engineering teams.
- Proficient in Go, Rust, Erlang or Elixir, and in the use of Linux environments.
- Skilled in using modern development tools and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear technical documentation and presentations.
- Effective at leading and mentoring engineering teams through influence and collaboration.
