About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead execution of GM’s transition toward using CoSIM environments for selected calibration and system-regression activities
- Own the integrated CoSIM and calibration execution roadmap, including scope, milestones, dependencies, decision points, resource needs and measurable outcomes
- Lead cross-functional execution across calibration, controls, software, systems engineering, validation, vehicle programs, test facilities and external partners
- Establish and maintain the operating model for intake, prioritization, ownership, handoffs, issue escalation and decision-making
- Drive readiness of simulation variants, plant and controller models, calibration inputs, test scenarios, data and supporting tools
- Define repeatable calibration and regression workflows with technical leaders, including version control, traceability, approval paths, release readiness and continuous improvement
- Identify and resolve technical, organizational and schedule risks; provide leadership with status, options and recommendations
- Create reporting for program health, capability maturity, adoption, quality, cycle time and physical-asset utilization
- Represent the initiative in senior leadership reviews and technical forums
- Translate complex engineering issues into business decisions and actionable commitments
- Mentor program and technical leads and build a culture of ownership, collaboration, urgency and fact-based problem solving
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success leading technically complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation and operational adoption
- Practical understanding of vehicle controls, embedded software, calibration, virtual validation or related engineering-development workflows
- Experience coordinating teams through ambiguity, competing priorities, dependencies and issues without relying solely on formal authority
- Strong written, verbal and executive communication skills
- Ability to present risks, decisions and recommendations to senior leaders
- Demonstrated ownership of outcomes and disciplined follow-through
- Commitment to safety, quality and customer needs

- Must be able to report to the specific location at least 3 times a week, or at another frequency dictated by the manager
