About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software production
  • Architect, implement, and operate cloud-based platforms hosting build, test, and virtualization capabilities
  • Collaborate with development, test, platform, IT operations, cybersecurity, and supplier teams
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, availability, and security of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
  • Integrate pipelines with physical and virtual test environments for automated test suites and co-simulation workloads
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtualization platforms and cloud services
  • Monitor pipeline and platform performance, reliability, and software quality metrics
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, pipeline, and cloud infrastructure issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and virtualization
  • Provide guidance, documentation, and training
  • Ensure platforms comply with corporate policies, standards, and requirements
  • Prepare and deliver technical updates, reviews, and live demonstrations to leadership and external partners
  • Track DevOps, cloud-native, and virtualization trends and incorporate relevant innovations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in software tools, platform, or infrastructure development, with a strong focus on DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and/or cloud-based applications
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions or comparable technologies
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and at least one of C, C++, or Java
  • Solid understanding of embedded software development tools, build processes, and workflows
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and practices for software validation in virtual and hardware-in-the-loop environments
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline solutions for complex, multi-component systems
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across build, pipeline, and infrastructure layers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional, Agile/DevOps environments
  • Proven ability to lead or drive challenging technical projects with high levels of ambiguity to successful completion

  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Preferred experience with large-scale cloud-native platforms, GM or automotive/embedded test frameworks, embedded software build systems, automotive communication protocols, automotive development tools, virtual workspaces, remote development environments, and corporate cybersecurity standards
