About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Manage Jira tasks for multiple Scrum and Kanban teams
  • Act as a liaison between teams to ensure continuous communication
  • Track sprint progress and remove impediments
  • Analyze existing business processes and optimize end-to-end processes to drive operational excellence and efficiency through automation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
  • Translate requirements into user stories
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to support the customer
  • Partner with business leaders, SMEs, technical teams, data analysts, and operational staff to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
  • Maintain structured documentation and linked artifacts in Confluence
  • Track progress in Jira to ensure alignment between requirements, development, operations, and reporting
  • Leverage AI tools such as Claude and CoPilot to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Initiate follow-up to ensure timely achievement of commitments
  • Support team members in other related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business process analysis or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks
  • Proven experience writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for requirements and project tracking while leveraging AI
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience writing requirements and creating user stories
  • Scrum Master experience
  • Familiarity with refugee and immigrant population or other social programs (preferred)
  • Understanding of ITIL or other process improvement frameworks (preferred)
  • Experience integrating business and operational data into Jira and Confluence (preferred)
