About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and receive all quoting efforts related to capture and proposal efforts at GDIT
Review strategic solution bills of materials and recommend sourcing strategies to ensure the best proposal price
Ensure sourcing adheres to GDIT internal compliance standards and government contracting regulatory requirements, including FAR
Complete all aspects of the sourcing process, including terms negotiations, pricing negotiations, agreement review, and customer-specific proposal requirements
Negotiate non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions related to the proposal process
Create proposal packages and load supporting documents to a repository according to templates and process flows
Provide timely and accurate status updates to capture teams
Provide acquisition strategy and strategic consultation throughout the capture lifecycle
Align material and supplier strategies with technical solutions and customer requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years of Supply Chain experience and/or commercial or FAR-regulated Supply Chain experience
Experience in written and oral communications at all levels of the company
Knowledge of acquisition and strategic sourcing
Skills in cost effectiveness analysis, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and standards compliance
US Person
No security clearance required
No travel required
Ability to work 40 scheduled hours per week
