About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create weekly status reports with technical details, client CIO summaries, project schedules, and schedule summaries
Create monthly status reports including JIRA reports, spend plans, Earned Value Management Reports, and Quality Reports
Create, maintain, and status multiple project schedules
Create Monthly Performance Reports
Create and present monthly PowerPoint presentations to the client’s COR, CIO, and Government stakeholders when the PM is unavailable
Assist with quarterly Integrated Baseline Review slide decks
Create Sprint deliverables and ensure timely delivery and source-control check-in
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are created and updated; write SOPs as necessary
Create and peer review deliverables to meet contract quality standards
Create subcontractor Statements of Work and job requisitions
Handle onboarding and offboarding activities
Learn SETRIS and handle subcontractor SETRIS issues
Follow up on timesheet submissions and back up the PM for timesheet approvals
Coordinate environment backup, user notification, and monitoring-script procedures before upgrades or patches
Track installed software versions across environments
Create and update Confluence pages and capture daily Scrum status
Perform Scrum Master duties, including creating, updating, statusing, and closing JIRA tickets
Follow up proactively on outstanding tasks
Participate in planning and budgeting exercises
Build and maintain relationships with clients, customer staff, and end users
Support short- and long-term engagement decisions
Monitor progress to ensure deadlines and standards are met
Contribute to modernization and migration to Azure cloud activities
Become familiar with other client engagements and support business development activities for Department of Commerce clients
Assist the Project Manager with complex programs and mission initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required
10 years of project management experience
At least 5 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating required proficiency levels
Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated client-facing experience
Proven experience leading complex systems implementation or integration efforts
Strong experience working with senior leadership clients in briefings, presentations, and advisory sessions
Experience with business process management products and Azure cloud SaaS-based implementations
Knowledge of radio transmitters and receivers, radar, antennas, satellites, and radio spectrum
Experience managing relationships and dependencies with external teams
Experience working in an Agile framework
Experience with JIRA and JIRA reports
Experience with Confluence
Experience writing technical documentation
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Secret clearance required to start
US citizenship is not required
Ability to travel 10–25%
