About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system
Work in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO
Manage the security aspects of an information system
Include physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness
Develop and update authorization documentation
Implement configuration management across authorization boundaries
Assess security impact of changes and make recommendations to the ISSM
Support Department of Defense (DoD) agencies
Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities
Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization package

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of related experience
Information Security
Information Security Management
Information System Security Certifications: None
US Citizenship Required: Yes
Experience in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO
Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
Certifications: IAT Level II or IAM Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
