- Contribute to efforts in designing; developing; analyzing; troubleshooting; and documenting wireless network security infrastructure.
- Performs problem isolation and resolution; monitors; tunes and sets standards for wired and wireless networks.
- Provide client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network security facilities.
- Plans and coordinates computer wireless network initiatives.
- Devise solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment.
- Provide internal consulting; technical guidance; information and support to application developers; computer operations; workstation support; company management and departmental clients.
- Works with and directs other network professionals as required to coordinate efforts resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.
- Ensures that network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring network performance; coordinating planned maintenance; adjusting hardware components and responding to network connectivity issues related to firewall/VPN/SSL infrastructures.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Bachelor’s degree in related degree or equivalent experience
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Technical Administration and in-depth experience with Wireless Networks
- Familiar with requirements of DoD 8570.1
- Familiar with Network Access Control implementation and management
- Ability to make recommendations to security flaws in question
