About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all subcontract-related tasks across the capture lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations
  • Develop competitive sourcing strategies
  • Surface risks early by driving cross-functional alignment with capture, pricing, contracts, and technical teams
  • Manage subcontractor engagement and sourcing strategy during capture and proposal development
  • Coordinate all subcontract-related inputs for proposals
  • Ensure small business and socioeconomic considerations are incorporated
  • Analyze capture requirements, identify subcontracting risks, gaps, and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver subcontractor status updates, risk assessments, and pricing insights to leadership and capturing stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement across the proposal subcontracting process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or related business field
  • 3+ years supporting federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development in FAR-based environments
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience developing RFX’s to suppliers
  • Analyzing subcontractor proposals
  • Negotiating agreements or terms
  • Working in source-to-pay or contract management systems
  • Strong understanding of subcontracting processes throughout capture and proposal phases
  • Ability to identify risks and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to clearly communicate with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership
