Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a high-performing team of engineers to deliver high-impact features and improvements
Focus primarily on people management, team development, and strategic execution
Independently drive execution on projects supporting semi-annual and annual goals
Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and psychological safety
Set clear priorities, goals, and key metrics for your team
Partner effectively across engineering teams and with cross-functional stakeholders
Build and develop a diverse, high-performing team through strategic hiring and coaching
Identify and address technical risks, system bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies
Drive informed decision-making by gathering diverse perspectives
Champion engineering best practices, including architectural quality and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizenship Required: Yes
10 + years of related experience
Demonstrated track record of leading high-performing engineering teams
Experience managing mixed workforce models including full-time employees, internal contractors, and external contractors
Strong people management focus
Experience in coaching, development, and team enablement
Experience managing the full software development lifecycle
Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
Track record of building, hiring, and developing diverse engineering teams
Experience setting technical direction and making architectural tradeoffs in partnership with senior management
Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and modern engineering practices
