About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours, professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities
Review applied research and incorporate best practices into suicide prevention policy, programming, and initiatives across their Component
Apply social work procedures and techniques in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders
Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts as required.
Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent (MSSW, MSSA) degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
Minimum of two (2) years peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in a mental health setting
Experience in brief behavioral interventions
Demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical social work services
Experience working in a government setting such as DoW or VA MTF is preferable.
Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance.
