Key responsibilities & impact

Own your opportunity to support national defense by maintaining critical operations
Streamline engineering to operations transition workflows, identifying gaps and driving corrective improvements
Lead teams of engineers to design, develop, integrate, and enhance CIS infrastructure components
Conduct comprehensive analyses of alternatives, cost estimates, and research/development activities
Support rigorous testing, validation, and evaluation of architecture and engineering designs
Identify emerging and revolutionary technologies and develop implementation approaches
Collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
Produce clear architectural documentation, design artifacts, engineering guidance, and transition plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 14+ years of relevant systems engineering, architecture, or infrastructure experience in lieu of a degree
Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE)
Proven experience architecting, integrating, and validating enterprise scale systems and infrastructure services
Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, test and evaluation practices, and lifecycle design considerations
Experience developing alternatives analyses, cost/schedule assessments, and modernization strategies
Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and work across diverse technical and operational stakeholders
Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and cross team collaboration skills
