About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own your opportunity to support national defense by maintaining critical operations
  • Streamline engineering to operations transition workflows, identifying gaps and driving corrective improvements
  • Lead teams of engineers to design, develop, integrate, and enhance CIS infrastructure components
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of alternatives, cost estimates, and research/development activities
  • Support rigorous testing, validation, and evaluation of architecture and engineering designs
  • Identify emerging and revolutionary technologies and develop implementation approaches
  • Collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
  • Produce clear architectural documentation, design artifacts, engineering guidance, and transition plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 14+ years of relevant systems engineering, architecture, or infrastructure experience in lieu of a degree
  • Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE)
  • Proven experience architecting, integrating, and validating enterprise scale systems and infrastructure services
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, test and evaluation practices, and lifecycle design considerations
  • Experience developing alternatives analyses, cost/schedule assessments, and modernization strategies
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and work across diverse technical and operational stakeholders
  • Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and cross team collaboration skills
