About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver insights to help clients turn data into action as a Database Administrator
- Provide transformative solutions to clients’ big-data obstacles
- Collaborate with clients to advance their mission
- Ensure operational efficiency and maintenance of production systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- Proven experience supporting operational and maintenance activities for production systems
- Hands-on expertise designing, building, and deploying database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions
- Experience developing database utilities, automation tools, and reporting solutions
- Strong ability to analyze, forecast, and sustain capacity and performance requirements
- Comprehensive experience with database administration, data imports/exports, and report development
- Experience working with cloud‑based database platforms such as PostgreSQL or AWS RDS
- Proficiency with database languages such as SQL or SQL/PSM
- Experience with multi‑model enterprise database platforms such as Oracle Enterprise (12c or newer)
- Experience using collaboration and workflow tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or SharePoint
