Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary subcontract strategy authority for high-visibility pursuits
Drive early shaping with industry partners and influence bid strategy
Ensure compliant and compelling submissions
Mentor other team members
Conduct early market research, supplier intelligence analysis, and competitive assessments
Oversee all subcontract-related inputs for major proposals
Direct negotiation strategy and lead high-visibility engagement with subcontractors
Identify and elevate subcontracting risks, gaps, and dependencies
Provide regular executive-level risk briefings
Leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to evaluate supplier performance
Prepare and deliver briefings on subcontract strategy, partner positioning, pricing insights
Drive continuous improvement efforts across the Growth organization
Mentor junior team members
Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or related business field
5+ years supporting federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development
Strong familiarity in FAR-based environments
Experience developing RFX’s to suppliers
Analyzing subcontractor proposals
Negotiating agreements or terms
Working in source-to-pay or contract management systems
Strong understanding of subcontracting processes throughout capture and proposal phases
Ability to identify risks and troubleshoot issues
Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership
