Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in an agile team, contributing to all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, code review, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
Design, develop and deploy new software tools that extend or replace existing capabilities.
Produce technical documentation and specifications as needed to support our business needs.
Maintains existing custom-developed software and supports COTS software products as needed.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to develop software applications according to stakeholder and/or business needs.
Report writing for Timekeeping and Payroll business partners.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, system analysts and other developers to define software requirements and implement solutions.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Update and maintain existing software to improve functionality, adapt to new hardware or software platforms and fix bugs.
Create and maintain technical documentation for software design and development processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve software development processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline required
1+ years of related Software Developing experience
Detail oriented and organized
Able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
Good written and business communication skills
Must be able to interpret specifications, troubleshoot and create software solutions
Requires a good working knowledge of integrating web applications
Proven track record as a self-learner keeping current with the latest techniques
Required Technical Skills: Application Development, Software Development, Web Applications, .NET
