About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in an agile team, contributing to all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, code review, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Design, develop and deploy new software tools that extend or replace existing capabilities.
  • Produce technical documentation and specifications as needed to support our business needs.
  • Maintains existing custom-developed software and supports COTS software products as needed.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to develop software applications according to stakeholder and/or business needs.
  • Report writing for Timekeeping and Payroll business partners.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, system analysts and other developers to define software requirements and implement solutions.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Update and maintain existing software to improve functionality, adapt to new hardware or software platforms and fix bugs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for software design and development processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve software development processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline required
  • 1+ years of related Software Developing experience
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
  • Good written and business communication skills
  • Must be able to interpret specifications, troubleshoot and create software solutions
  • Requires a good working knowledge of integrating web applications
  • Proven track record as a self-learner keeping current with the latest techniques
  • Required Technical Skills: Application Development, Software Development, Web Applications, .NET
