Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of related experience required
Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Journalism experience, including writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications, highly preferred
Background in science journalism preferred
Excellent English and creative writing skills
Proficiency in journalism editing standards
Strong research skills to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations
Ability to perform technical tasks associated with internet-based publications
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment
US Citizenship required
