About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a VDI Engineer
Tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of clients
Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues
Design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment
Troubleshoot all related performance issues across the organization
Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability
Maintain and possess an advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop technologies
Collaborate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders
Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of related experience
US Citizenship Required
Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education
Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
Citrix App Layering
Liquidware Profile Unity
Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)
Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream.
