Key responsibilities & impact

Transform technology into opportunity as a Senior IT Project Manager at GDIT
Designing, leading, and governing schedule and WBS practices across a portfolio of IT projects
Manage the master IT project schedule in Microsoft Project Server
Lead the creation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and WBS dictionaries
Analyze schedule data to identify cross-project impacts, critical paths, resource/contention issues, and recommend mitigation strategies
Facilitate workshops for WBS development
Lead selected complex IT projects end-to-end
Develop comprehensive project plans, manage risks and issues, oversee change control, ensure delivery against scope, schedule, and quality objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of related experience
Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
Information Technology Project Management
Microsoft Office Project Server
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
DoD 8140.03 Work Role (802) IT Project Manager - Basic
Industry Certifications: PMP and ITIL Foundations (ITIL to be achieved within 3 months of hiring)
BS or BA degree (or applicable substitute experience as specified)
