About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Technical Editor Senior
  • Play a crucial role in creating, maintaining, and governing program documentation across Agile, technical, and compliance domains
  • Ensure all documentation—including design artifacts, user guides, and compliance deliverables—is clear, accurate, and compliant with federal standards
  • Support DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and modernization transparency for applications built as part of this initiative.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in English, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working in an Agile Scrum environment writing technical documentation for the software product, application, and product releases
  • Proven experience producing documentation for Agile, cloud, or DevSecOps-based projects
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts in software development, system architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Experience managing compliance documentation for FedRAMP, NIST, or FISMA-controlled environments
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with attention to accuracy, clarity, and style
  • Proficiency with document management systems (SharePoint, Confluence, Git, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for publishing technical documentation
  • Experience creating content accessible to all audiences (Section 508 and WCAG compliance).
