About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data collection and analysis for a government program
  • Enhance and develop reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Support forecast modeling, develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards
  • Build briefing products, conduct analyses, and coordinate data collection efforts
  • Monitor and support individual team members' progress
  • Provide updates and guidance per DAIM requirements
  • Complete annual performance evaluations
  • Prepare and present findings to agency leadership
  • Oversee quality and production of analytical reports
  • Compile, analyze, and visualize data using a data visualization platform like Power BI or Tableau

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, data analytics, or similar degree
  • Prior experience leading data projects and initiatives or data centric teams
  • Familiarity working with sensitive-PII and integrity in protecting customer data
  • Working knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (R, Python)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases
  • Advanced skills in Excel and VBA
  • Exceptional analytical and strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred
