Key responsibilities & impact

Lead enterprise systems management, service delivery operations (24/7), infrastructure support (Level 2 and Storage, Back-Up, and Restore Services), database support, performance monitoring and reporting, and service request management (24/7)
Lead service delivery innovation and continuous improvements to O&M performance
Support production and non-production applications and technical support
Serve as key technical expert across multiple areas of expertise (e.g., computer networks, hardware, and software, including interconnection and interfaces, as well as common cloud services)
Supervise several large subordinate multi-discipline teams
Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies
Develop and recommend corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Technical skills: expertise with large scale, enterprise IT O&M, technologies, and programs, hosted in both data center and cloud environments; expertise in infrastructure, networking, database, application and system security, web technologies, and cloud services; expertise in infrastructure and application management best practices and tools; currency with latest techniques in automated discovery, automated code scanning, automated testing, continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts; and experience implementing and configuring DevOps solutions
Security clearance level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
US citizenship required
Role requirements: strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex architectures to non-technical audiences; and strong, proven leadership experience
