Key responsibilities & impact

Lead acquisition strategy during capture to power competitive proposals
Negotiate critical agreements and ensure compliance with procurement policies
Drive strategic RFPs and coordinate cross-functional teams
Assess early business requirements to align sourcing events with objectives
Serve as the cross-functional lead for major procurement initiatives
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and milestones
Interpret procurement policies and customer requirements to ensure compliance
Lead supplier engagement, negotiations, and capability assessments
Strengthen procurement processes and mentor team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in strategic sourcing, FAR compliant procurement, contract negotiations, and/or a related supply chain discipline
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field, or in lieu of degree, 11+ years in relevant fields required
Strong ability to partner with stakeholders to understand procurement objectives
In-depth knowledge and experience negotiating terms and pricing for IT Hardware, Cloud Products, SaaS Products, Professional Services
Experience leading complex RFPs
Proficiency in Excel (analytics/reporting), Word, source-to-pay, contract management, or procurement systems
Must be a US citizen due to the nature of the contracts supported
