Senior DS, Distribution Systems Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical expertise to modernize network design
- Support survey and implementation efforts at Air Force and Space Force bases
- Coordinate with Government Points of Contact
- Conduct end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables
- Review work of less experienced team members
- Provide training to internal and external groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute
- Active DoD Secret Level Clearance required
- Extensive background in fiber splicing and testing using Fluke Versiv power meter and OTDR
- Familiarity with distribution systems design and implementation documents
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual teaming environment
