About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop Python scripts on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a Proof of Concept (POC)
  • Configure and integrate services that will support CMS’s goal of replacing “shared systems” with near real-time abilities
  • Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services remotely

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required: No
  • 4+ Years of hands-on advanced experience developing Python code
  • Hands-on experience setting up an Integration environment using AWS Glue, S3, and RDB
  • Hands-on experience with implementing system integrations and interfaces
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, data seeding, data mapping and data validation
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda development
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark
  • Experience with AWS tools and applications, including the following: AWS AppSync, AWS MSK (Kafka), and Amazon EventBridge
  • Must be able to obtain CMS Public Trust clearance
  • Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
