About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the engineering, deployment, and optimization of Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
Support data scientists and AI teams in developing and operationalizing AI proof-of-concepts using Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Databricks
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform
Migrate existing cloud resources into IaC frameworks, ensuring version control and automated testing
Implement DevSecOps practices including automated security scanning and policy enforcement in CI/CD pipelines
Engineer Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, AKS, monitoring, and governance components
Integrate SaaS platforms securely with Azure, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments
Produce architecture diagrams, engineering documentation, and technical recommendations
Evaluate emerging Azure services and provide adoption guidance
Contribute to cloud standards and modernization roadmaps

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience
Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, including Azure ML, Databricks, and model deployment pipelines
Hands-on experience designing and securing Azure cloud environments at scale
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security-by-design principles
Experience with IaC frameworks such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
Understanding of multi-cloud concepts and AWS/GCP service equivalents
Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration
Hands-on scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, and Python
Hands-on experience with networking
Experienced with containers and orchestration, including Docker and AKS
At least one active Azure certification, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), and/or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
