About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all acquisition‑related tasks throughout the capture lifecycle
Provide strategic consultation to the capture team
Ensure that subcontracts, material, and supplier strategies are optimal
Act as the integrator across subcontracting, material quoting, agreements, and risk management
Serve as a people manager with direct leadership responsibility for a material quoter and subcontract specialist
Translate acquisition requirements into actionable strategies for subcontracts, materials, and supplier engagement
Drive early strategy development for sourcing, pricing inputs, SLAs, supplier commitments, and risk mitigations
Interpret FAR/DFARS and ITAR requirements; ensure CPSR compliant package
Lead planning, coordination, and submission of all acquisition proposal inputs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional work experience may substitute for a degree
Strong ability to interpret PWS/SOW, RFP instructions, and evaluation criteria
Evaluate supplier proposals
Proficiency in Word, Excel (specifically reporting/analytics), and source-to-pay or contract/procurement systems
Knowledge in affordability/cost-value engineering and supplier strategy development
Must be a U.S. Person due to the nature of opportunities supported
