About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Deployment & Environment Operations overseeing manual and automated code and configuration deployments
Own and advance the Toolchain including administering and optimizing FlexDeploy and GitLab
Drive DevSecOps vision in partnership with Security to define and evolve a forward-looking DevSecOps roadmap
Deliver results, not just plans by translating strategy into short execution cycles with visible outcomes
Build, mentor, and elevate the team focusing on ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
Demonstrate strong executive engagement and influence in stakeholder discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience in similar business critical, large-scale application environment.
8+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
Direct experience administering and optimizing FlexDeploy (or comparable enterprise release orchestration tools).
Strong working knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, merge controls, CI/CD, and pipeline governance.
Deep understanding of segregation of duties, change management, and environment controls.
Demonstrated ability to define and track operational KPIs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level stakeholders.
Competency with Microsoft Office products.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
