About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and grow a Product Systems Engineering team.
Support Deployment team efforts in implementing Oracle Health (Cerner) solutions across IHS facilities.
Support Sustainment team efforts in ensuring IHS facilities are operational and current in technology.
Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud Hosting, and Cybersecurity teams.
Understand and manage technical design of GDIT-managed systems.
Identify systems architecture patterns that align with FedRAMP controls.
Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure alignment with NIST CSF and agency policies.
Lead efforts to deploy Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations activities.
Implement policies for system-to-system connections management.
Participate in cross-functional teams for new vendor capabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of related experience
Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EHR software suite
Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience
Ability to lead a technical team of 3-6 employees
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve successful outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
Ability to travel 25% of the year, if needed
