About the role

  • Transform technology into opportunity as an ATF Test Engineer at GDIT.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements and test coverage.
  • Build automated test suites supporting regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, document defects, and validate fixes.
  • Optimize and maintain existing ATF test suites for performance, reliability, and stability.
  • Ensure test automation aligns with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and uphold quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship on ATF best practices.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments with automated testing strategies.
  • Participate in Agile software development efforts (standups, planning, grooming, estimation) to ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers to define test approaches with a focus on automating recurring/regression tests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities
  • Extensive experience designing automated tests for forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow Automated Test Framework experience
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow testing experience with ITSM
  • Must have a high school diploma; technical training, certification(s) or degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain CSA certification within 90 days.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
