Provide technical expertise on mission-critical program for OIS
Design, build, deploy, and maintain data architectures and databases in the AWS GovCloud
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations
Implement and manage databases and data delivery systems
Collaborate with data scientists and architects to ensure data infrastructure supports functions

Requirements

10+ years of related experience
U.S. Citizenship required
BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Directive 8570.1/8140 - IAT II baseline certification: Security+
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Engineer or similar certification highly preferred
Strong proficiency in SQL
Experience with implementing ETL processes and tools (e.g., Pentaho)
Experience with data warehousing concepts
Experience in decomposition of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and triggers
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) highly preferred
Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
