About the role
- Own your opportunity to turn data into measurable outcomes for our customers’ most complex challenges
- Play a crucial role in the customer’s mission within the Quality Payment Program
- Supports Key Data Analyst with responsibilities impacting the overall mission
- Reviews health care data technical specifications (i.e., claims, QRDA, HL7, etc.) for compliance from a technical and clinical perspective
- Provides technical assistance regarding potential technical challenges in implementation of clinical quality measures
- Collaborates with PIQMMS Team members, as well as CMS customer to achieve the mission
- Provides support on measure content and analytical issues as it pertains to the national quality initiative
- Verifies and analyzes report data when appropriate
- Utilize specific tools, skills or technologies in the role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; or anticipated graduate of a Bachelor's program; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to analyze and document clinical and technical standards
- Knowledge and use of standard coding systems (CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10, etc.)
- SQL, Python and R, and Data Visualization Tools
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and PDF documents
- Excellent problem-solving skills including providing solutions and/or options to potential issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
