About the role

  • Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Software Developer Senior at GDIT. Lead the design, development, and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.
  • Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform (Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Tableau CRM) and integrations.
  • Develop and configure solutions using Salesforce functionality/Lightning Components (AURA and LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Lead the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment; review and provide feedback; ensure best practices.
  • Collaborate with junior developers; create and maintain technical documentation; participate in full SDLC.
  • Mentor and provide guidance; may manage team members; monitor performance.
  • Us citizenship and Top Secret clearance as required; DOE Q clearance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
  • Hands-on programming with Salesforce: LWC and Apex; SLDS, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, SOQL, SOSL; declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform in Lightning; data modeling, integration, and data migration
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization
  • Experience with Copado and GitHub/Bitbucket; IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Top Secret DOE Q clearance
