About the role

  • Oversee the classified information security program
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support the full lifecycle of information systems (IS), from accreditation to decommissioning
  • Develop Risk Management Facility (RMF) accreditation packages
  • Maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) certifications for networked systems and program applications
  • Provide technical engineering services for integrated security systems and solutions
  • Lead/Manage the design and development of integrated security system solutions
  • Review incident/event investigation and analysis
  • Manage and maintain security system infrastructure and assess network vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with and provide technical support to the program security team
  • Maintain awareness of cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain security toolsets
  • Lead security engineering, validation testing, and assessment of classified information systems (IS)

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM) highly desired
  • Experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • Experience with cyber security policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) such as DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
  • Experience as an information system security engineer (ISSE), information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs
