Install, configure, administer, manage, and document MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) in a Master with Replicas configuration
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Advise Division management regarding integration of IT programs
Lead engineering and architecture activities related to database performance monitoring & optimization
Develop new theories and work methods to improve relational and non-relational data stores
Manage database assets including maintenance of inventory and related documentation

Requirements

5+ years of related experience required for Senior role, 8+ years required for the Principal
Strong command-line experience including AWS CLI, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting skills
Experience with Administering SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) technologies
Ability to perform complex command-line scripts and perform SQL queries
Experience with AWS RDS Administration
Experienced working in Linux environments
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
