About the role
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, and data workflows.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Use Selenium (or similar tools) for automated browser testing of React front-end components.
- Validate API endpoints in Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure Functions using automated and manual testing approaches.
- Perform SQL validation testing to ensure data integrity between Azure SQL, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI reports.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and conduct accessibility testing.
- Document and track defects and issues in JIRA, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including test automation integration and reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to align testing with development cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium (or equivalent automated browser testing tools).
- Experience testing in Azure environments, including API, function, and database validation.
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing tools.
- Experience with Agile testing practices and defect tracking in JIRA.
