About the role
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks like Angular, React, or similar technologies
- Implement front-end solutions that are mobile responsive and compliant with Section 508 Accessibility standards
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into interactive and functional web pages
- Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to assist in code generation, refactoring, and optimization
- Ensure web applications are secure, performant, and scalable by following best practices and industry standards
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services via REST APIs and other data communication methods
- Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
- Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and testers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality web solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end reporting solutions, leveraging full stack developer skills to integrate front-end visualization tools with back-end data processing and storage systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on responsive design
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with AI tools, particularly GitHub Copilot, for code generation and optimization
- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (AWS)
- Strong understanding of web security practices and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, preferred but not required
- If there is no relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
