- Responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.
- Manage the procurement process for both indirect and direct procurements.
- Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution.
- Completion of sourcing checklist in accordance with GDIT’s procurement process and compliance standards.
- Ensure high internal customer satisfaction.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of supply chain experience In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience.
- Must have exposure to supply chain.
- Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
- Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
- Preferred skills and experience: 1+ year experience in supply chain, government contractor, and/or government regulated procurement, experience in enter commodity procurement.
