About the role
- Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards
- Support senior ISSOs in implementing information systems security policies, standards and methodologies
- Develop and maintain A&A documentation per DISA/DoD
- Develop system security policy and ensure compliance
- Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information
- Maintain operational security posture for information systems
- Develop and update BoE, SSP, and other IA documentation
- Assist with management of security aspects of information systems and daily security operations
- Provide A&A support, RMF compliance, and continuous monitoring
- Ensure familiarity with DoD SOP for cyber security risk management
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I - CAP, GSCL or Security+ CE certification
- Bachelor of Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- 8 years of related experience
- Experience in developing and reviewing Authorization packages and artifacts
- Experience evaluating security solutions for processing classified information
- Expert knowledge of Cloud cybersecurity principles and DoD RMF, FISMA, etc.
- Experience with ACAS, STIGs, HBSS
- Experience with Azure Cloud services and cybersecurity requirements
- Expertise in cyber security programs, policies, and implementation for DoD/CC/S/As
- Familiarity with DoD and DISA SOP for cyber security and risk management
- Experience with DISA eMASS and A&A activities; maintaining BoE, SSP, and IA documentation
- Prior DoD experience; DISA or similar agency preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
