About the role

  • Drive business development processes in concert with business development executives and solution architects
  • Lead development and execution of win strategies from opportunity qualification through proposal submission
  • Manage effective execution of capture pursuits, following business development process and gate controls
  • Track performance to cost and schedule, and communicate ongoing capture status to leadership
  • Develop and maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers and partners
  • Shape opportunities and position throughout the opportunity life-cycle to increase probability of win
  • Support communication and implementation of a One GDIT culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency
  • Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures
  • Develop marketing strategies and providing input into market account plans with assigned account BD and P&L leaders

Requirements

  • 10 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered)
  • 5+ years of experience in Capture/Business Development and a recent track record of successfully leading capture opportunities in excess of $300M
  • Strong background in leading captures focused on IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, Cloud and Cyber solutions, and defense mission focused program support offerings
  • Experience with corporate investment and procurement processes
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and lead cross-functional teams through collaboration
