About the role
- Own your opportunity to turn data into measurable outcomes for our customers’ most complex challenges
- Support the mission of the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Unified Case Management (UCM)
- Review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain environmental databases
- Use database management concepts, storage and query/retrieval methods, statistical analyses, and programming languages to perform analyses, develop plans and recommendations, and prepare required level of documentation
- Comply with project specifications, including format and content of input/output data and functions to be performed by computer programs
- Prepare clear and accurate tables, data plots, maps and other graphics
Requirements
- BA/BS in a Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 4+ years experience
- Experience with building and maintaining ETL pipelines while using AWS, Snowflake and PostgresSQL
- Experience with implementing automated data validation
- Experience creating dashboards and automating pipelines for reporting
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Must have good problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a CMS environment with Medicare/Medicaid claims and associated data
- Experience with the Agile framework
