About the role
- Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Business Development Director
- Identify opportunities where GDIT can partner with the Army
- Lead all aspects of account growth, new business development, and customer relationship management
- Meet with customers to understand the customer territory
- Develop a pipeline of new opportunities for assigned Sector or market segment
- Lead identification and qualification of new business opportunities
- Execute call plans to collect information about opportunities
- Meet with OEM vendors and potential industry partners to collect information about opportunities and customers
- Prepare for and brief opportunities at formal gate reviews
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience
- BS/BA Degree
- Proficiency with forecasting capabilities and CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce)
- Experience managing a pipeline of business focused on year-over-year Growth
- Experience developing Account Strategies or Strategies for Capability Development and Acquisition
- Active Secret Clearance required
- US Citizenship required
