About the role
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary development team
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of solutions built on modern Azure-native stack
- Manage development processes, including code reviews, branching strategies, and quality gates
- Partner with DevOps to enforce CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma mockups into responsive, accessible applications
- Track progress using Agile methodologies in JIRA
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in software and/or data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a lead or manager role
- Strong background in Azure cloud services (Functions, SQL, Data Factory, Power BI, APIM)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams spanning application and data developers
- Familiarity with ETL migrations (SSIS to Azure Data Factory) and data warehouse design
- Knowledge of Power BI governance, performance optimization, and secure report publishing
- Experience managing in Agile/Scrum environments with JIRA or similar tools
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, HIPAA, or other regulated environments
