About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and inspire a regional sales team, providing coaching, training, and clear performance expectations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver consistent revenue growth.
- Set quarterly and annual targets, forecast performance, and ensure your team hits their numbers.
- Join your team on key customer calls, helping advance opportunities and close deals.
- Build strong customer and distributor relationships that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Track market trends, analyze competitors, and identify new opportunities for expansion.
- Partner across departments to align strategy and deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Manage budgets, oversee deal execution, and ensure CRM tools are used effectively.
- Travel within your region to stay close to your team and customers (frequent travel required).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years in sales leadership.
- 10+ years of direct selling experience.
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving ambitious goals.
- Master’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
- Experience working with distribution channels and end-user customers preferred.
- Proven success in expanding client bases and building long-term partnerships.
- Deep understanding of sales strategy, performance management, and team motivation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen with hands-on execution ability.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and enterprise tools (SAP, FieldServio a plus).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
