About the role

  • Directing and managing the Global Operations capital and operational budget
  • Facilitating sound business decisions regarding global facility expansions, product line transfers, make/buy decisions
  • Utilizing data mining techniques to research, model, and generate “what if” scenarios
  • Evaluating Return on Investment (ROI) for specific programs and/or projects and recommending appropriate action
  • Providing direction and support to key business partners
  • Reviewing requests for capital spending and providing input and/or authorization for capital expenditures
  • Managing standardization of visual management and global operational processes
  • Proactively directing the annual operating and capital budgeting process including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget
  • Coordinating assists and overseeing the development of financial operations business plans
  • Analyzing profit-and-loss income statements and preparing reports and offering insight for productivity improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years’ broad financial experience
  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Previous experience with SAP or equivalent ERP
  • Cost accounting experience
  • Multi-national manufacturing experience
  • Experience with total cost of ownership modeling, make versus buy, vertical integration.
