Infrastructure Engineer

• Design, deploy, and manage data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, network connectivity, and server hardware.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Configure and support Veeam Backup & Replication solutions, ensuring robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate infrastructure management tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Implement and maintain robust physical and logical security measures within the data center environment.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, coordinating with vendors for resolution as needed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure components.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry best practices in data center infrastructure, virtualization, monitoring, containerization, and backup/recovery.
