Contribute to the analysis and design of standard data reporting for collaborations with biopharma, commercial enterprise, patient advocacy and education teams
Communicate clinical and data insights from standard reporting based on gene, phenotype, or variant of interest to internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with cross-functional internal teams, including medical writers, clinical program managers, engineers, and researchers, to proactively support projects and initiatives.
Maintain data definitions, pipelines, templates, and workflows to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
Support comprehensive data analyses for scientific research, conference presentations, and manuscript preparation
Perform preliminary feasibility queries to inform for downstream research design and execution
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of clinical data by following best practices in data management and quality control
Utilize standard statistical methods to analyze genetic and clinical data.
Requirements
MS in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Genetic Epidemiology, Genetic Counseling or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in clinical data analysis, preferably in the genetic testing or healthcare industry. Preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience in genetic counseling or human genetics research. Data analysis experience in a non-biological field will not be considered for this role.
Proficiency in querying relational databases with SQL.
Basic proficiency in statistical testing and programming languages such as R or Python.
Strong understanding of genetic data and clinical research methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
Preferred: Experience using cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent
Preferred: PhD in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Genetic Epidemiology, or a related field.
Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Preferred: Proven track record of contributing to scientific publications and conference presentations.
